Mission Statement

James Hillhouse High School is a comprehensive high school. Our task as educators, community members, parents, and students is to graduate individuals, who through evolving programs of studies and activities are able to:

Foster a collaborative and cooperative environment

Achieve at the highest academic level

Motivate students to exhibit in meaningful ways action which contribute to the surrounding community

Illustrate a commitment to fulfill personal responsibility 

Learn to respect themselves and others in this increasingly diverse world

Yearn to demonstrate an abiding respect for the laws our local, state,national, and global communities.
